INDIVIDUAL RESEARCH: 5th grade

For this project we asked students to think of questions that they did not know the answer to. Then they had to research their question and present their findings to the class.  Berta L. Question: Why is the sky blue? Answer:  When light from the sun enters our atmosphere, it collides with molecules in the air. The colour blue is thrown more than the other colours during these collisions, thus making the sky appear blue to our eyes. Roger Question: Who invented glasses? Answer:  Glasses were invented in the year 1285 in Italy by monk Alesandra della Spina and his friend Solwince D´Armote. Guillem Question: Why are our eyes different colours?
